Ok...so this is my first post!! It's been a long time coming and I feel totally bad because when my best friend Jessie was pregnant and bored, she spent hours customizing my blog for me because I, apparently, am incapable of figuring this whole blogging thing out! Jessie made my blog for me months and months ago!!! So I'm sorry it's taken this long to post but I love you Jessie and you did a rockin job!!!

I am officially Mrs. Amy Shaffer (weird that is the first time I have actually written "Mrs." lol) Jeremy and I were married July 26th 2009 and it has been so amazing so far. People always say that your relationship changes after your married but we feel that our relationship has gotten so much stronger. There isn't anymore stress about what color the linens for the tables need to be or how much money we need to spend on catering. We are just enjoying being newlyweds. Only now, we are getting the "baby itch."
Yes, the "baby itch." We aren't going out of our way and "trying" but we aren't preventing it either. We feel like it will happen when it happens. We are looking forward to starting a little family and sharing our love with something precious that came from us both. Where did the time go? I feel like all my high school friends are either married, pregnant, or already have one or two kids. It really is crazy how fast we all grow up and become successful adults.
Jeremy and I are renting right now, in the house that we have lived in for almost two years and we are ready for a change. We are hoping that by this time next year, we will have purchased our first home and starting building our foundation of happiness.
Anywho... I will post start blogging a lot more I promise, and I will post some wedding pictures soon!
